I switched from a gas hob and very impressed with this induction technology. Easy to control with impressive features. The fast boil boost feature is incredibly impressive, I was pretty sceptical of the claims but it boils a pan of water ridiculously fast!
The only slight thing I’ve noticed so far is the lower numbered power settings seem very low, have to go to at least 8 or upwards for a consistent simmer and slightly strange that it goes from 1-14 but I’m sure there’s a reason!

"We've only had this induction hob for a week, so it's early days. Nonetheless, it is able to bring a large pan of water to the boil very quickly indeed, which is great for preparing potatoes or pasta, as it the boil-sense feature, even though it doesn't work with cast iron pans. Furthermore the control of this hob is instant, which makes it very easy to set a simmer temperature and allows you to leave the lid on the pot thereby reducing energy consumption. The lower temperature settings are very granular so making sauces or even melting chocolate is very easy: no need for a bain marie!
Perhaps it's greatest feature is the direct access control for each hob: no need to select the hob and keep hitting a + or - button. This is direct access on a sliding control for each hob. Great stuff.
If it is as reliable as the feature set is good, then I'm in for many years of service!"
