"picked this as alternative as unfortunately my Beko 8kg washing machine stopped working after 10months - would’ve had another one in a second (even though their customer service was atrocious) however it was out of stock for over 4 weeks therefore here i am with this... HUGE MISTAKE! Wish i had gone for the 7kg version of the Beko instead and would’ve saved me having to buy a machine £160 more expensive than original one i bought!
The size of this drum inside looks tiny compared with my last 8kg
I opted for this because of the ‘flextime’ wash to suit your needs - that’s not accurate... you press a button and it changes times but not by much and definitely doesn’t allow them to suit you!
The only cycles you can do a ‘full’ load on is the cottons at 3hrs 28mins and using flexitime reduces to 2hrs 27mins or cottons eco 4hrs 57mins and using flexitime can go down to 2hrs 46mins - not exactly quick / flexi or convenient for a ‘medium’ sized family (of 4)
The ‘daily 20 min 3kg’ wash is only that if you wash at 30 degrees - this increases to 30 minutes if change to 40 degree wash - this is ok apart from the fact it’s less than half the load amount my previous machine would take and time wise only 8 minutes shorter!
I’ve just completed a football kit wash (yellow kit on Astro turf) was on cottons 2hrs 27 mins however has still came out looking dirty - previous machine had a stain expert cycle that wouldn’t be much longer than it was on for and the kit whether it had been on Astro or mucky grass always came out clean with no pre wash or stain remover added to garments or wash
The touch buttons are temperamental and the dispenser drawer sticks trying to open and close
WOULD DEFININTELY NOTE RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE - only given 1 star as wouldn’t allow me to put none!"

"Superb service from AO and an excellent machine. Very quiet when it washes and spins. Loads take a little longer to wash because they are economical to run and let the washing solution do its job rather than high temperature. Cleaning cycle is available to keep the machine clean. Several programmes for washing including a quick wash for lightly soiled items. You can vary the temperature and spin speed from the default if required and there is a delay wash setting also. Very happy with purchase. "

"This machine is very quiet even on fast spin and the clothes even seem cleaner than before! Some of the programmes are ridiculously long (4.5 hours on Eco Cotton!) but there are short washes too which I will usually use. All in all very happy with this machine."
