"When the hob arrived one of the rings had come loose on transit & scratched it. The enamel had scratched off and looked a mess. Over time things do get dropped and you catch the hob and the scratches will rust. On a steel hob scratches don't show up as badly and won't rust. I would have hoped for something more practical and hard wearing. "
"I've had several gas hobs over the years, and all had the same issue...the steel pan rests all wobble around. not this one though. nothing moves or rattles and it seems far sturdier than any I've previously owned. The brushed steel controls give it a pleasant feel, and I think it looks more expensive than it actually was. "
