"This is my first experience of using an induction hob and so far I am very pleased with the way it works. It seems very efficient at heating pan contents and the temperature is quite controllable. I like the fact a timer can be set and that the hob has auto-shutoff.
The installation instructions could be better, for instance when it is first mentioned, you are told to stick a foam strip round the underside of the edge of the hob, but later, it tells you to stick it 2-3mm in from the edge, which is too late as it cannot be repositioned.
Also, the instructions say that only certain ovens should be installed beneath the hob as they need to provide cooling around the inside of the cabinet. However, finding out which ovens are suitable is proving difficult as the Hisense website does not provide the information required and customer services do not seem prepared to provide a list of the ones that work with the hob."

"I am really pleased with my new hob and the service provided by ao. Our hob arrived on the day expected (delivery was free), and ao called 30 minutes before arrival to let me know they were close. We chose the installation service and I couldn't rate the team more highly. The two engineers were polite and knowledgeable, and fitted the hob quickly. After fitting the hob they showed me how it worked, which I thought was a nice touch. The installation cost was also much cheaper than any quotes we had received from local electricians. The hob itself is great - wish we had switched to induction sooner! Will certainly use ao again"

"Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who wants a hob for longer than a year!
My first hob lasted all of 3 days and this one has lasted just under a year. The controls are temperamental and at times one hob doesn’t work at all!
AO customer service is brilliant but Hisense is not even worth the phone call!"
