"Whilst at the lower price end of the price range for hob's I have not found myself disappointed with it so far. It was a straight forward installation and whilst it does not have the most sophisticated range of functions or controls , what it does have suits my needs adequately. My old induction hob did have a better heat range setting in that it was more responsive to heat adjustment i.e. going from 9 to 7 for instance took it from boiling to a simmer immediately, whereas it continues to boil, albeit less intensely with the Hisense until you get to a much lower heat setting. Also the Hisense seems to pulse, or at least it is more evident in doing so that my old one, by this I mean you can see the hot water in the pan suddenly bubble up as the power to the plates cuts in and out in a pulsing fashion which I guess is due lower cost of the elements on this particular model and you can hear this as well as see it. I can't say that this causes me any issues cooking, you adapt. I find the controls simply to use, but I suggest you read the operating instructions on its functions settings to determine for yourself whether they would suit you, but they are responsive, though bear in mind the remarks I made about the temperature setting being less sophisticated. I like the fact you can bridge to rings to use as one larger cooking area, its a useful feature. Bearing in mind this was a £200 hob not a £2000 or £500 one I find that it has lived up to the reviews and comments i read before buying it. I registered for the 2 year guarantee so time alone will tell how durable it will prove to be"

"I bought this to replace a Hotpoint induction hob we had had for 8 years but had chipped the top and we were replacing out work tops. It has been in for two days and it so far performs very well indeed. It looks good and provided it lasts as well as we hope it will be great. It has boos function on all the four cooking zones and a bridge function for larger pans."

"We went from a gas hob to this induction hob. I am so glad we went for it as it is so easy to use and much quicker than my old gas one. It Cooks food really nicely and it responds very quickly when turning up or down. It is also very easy to keep clean. Would definitely recommend."
