"This is a great hob. Heats food quickly and is easy to use once you get the hang of it. I have given 4 stars as the glass top is very fragile - the previous hob I had smashed when a small glass container dropped on it. "

"Looks good, worked ok but lasted only 16 months. Now left side flashing a fault. It supposedly have 24 months warranty so I will see if Hisense Customer Service is as bad as everyone says."

"I have gone through 2 of these in 18 months. The most recent was because the main control unit overheated and fried the electronics.
Things i wish I i knew when I bought it:
1) scratches fairly easily
2) cannot use all four areas at the same time for very long. It gets too hot. Then it cuts out all together
3) Warranty is a nightmare. Had a hard time convincing Hisense the hob was at fault and not my electrics. After a long phone call, they finally agreed to send someone out. Nearly 3 months without a hob and lots of chasing.
4) i could never get the bridging to work
As I mentioned I've been through 2 of these, the first one is where I dropped a jar of jam on the hob and smashed the glass cover."
