"We’re a family of four, with one child with a disability. We have to do minimum 1-2 loads of washing a day and I need a tumble dryer to make sure my son has clean clothes for school (he can get through several outfits in a day as a result of some issues). As a result we spend a lot of money on electricity to tumble dry clothes, so when our old workhorse condenser dryer finally gave up we decided to go for a more energy efficient model. This one may be A++ rated but I’m pretty sure the efficiency is negated by the immense amount of time it takes to dry clothes. If I put in a full load at night it will still be damp in the morning, even if I clean the filter and empty the water after a couple of hours, and choose the hottest setting, and in fact is often still damp after being on all day as well. It does dry clothes eventually, but it takes far too long.
I’m really frustrated and disappointed and wish I’d gone for a less efficient condenser dryer. It looks great, it doesn’t make the room hot, which is a bonus, but all that means nothing when I can’t dry clothes. I imagine it would be great for a single person or a couple who don’t need that much stuff washed, but it’s nothing more than a massive frustration to my family. "

"Very happy with this dryer. The delivery guys were very polite and helpful. The only issue I have is that the instructions have been translated from Italian, literally! The English is appalling an barely makes any sense, but on the up side the dryer is pretty easy to get used to so you won’t need them! This however is totally Candy’s problem and not AO.com, with whom I have no faults. "

"It’s really good at magicking wet clothes into dry clothes without making them look like they’ve been scrunched into a ball and left for a decade. However, like all good magicians it’s a bit demanding. Am finding I spend more time looking after it (cleaning filters, emptying reservoir etc) in the hope it will last longer than 2 years than I do looking after my cat, and she’s got no guarantee whatsoever. Seriously good drier though!"

"It does take longer than a standard tumble dryer I had a condensed tumble dryer before this one but I wanted to be greener so I thought they're getting this new technology would be better for everyone as in me and the environment you still got to empty the water although there is a pipe that you can connect underneath so that it will drain it on its own but you can get that with other condensers normal condensers remember this one is a heat pump tumble dryer you still have a filter to clean there is one inside the Drum that collects all the fluff and yes it does get the odd sock stuck on it I can imagine this being extremely annoying if you were to tumble dry a lot of socks or maybe if you have a family and their young all those little clothes would easily get stuck on the filter inside what does that really mean well all that fluff gets then stuck on whatever stuck on the filter i.e. a sock gets covered in fluff and one more filter at the front of the machine you take a cover off and have to clean out another fluff collecting filter to be honest I'm not bothered about cleaning out filters and changing water but what does bother me is it definitely takes longer to dry your clothes and I read all the reviews and they all kind of said the same thing it only takes 10 minutes more or 15 minutes more to dry your clothes that's a load of rubbish takes a lot longer than that you can't just take the load out of your washing machine and throw it in your tumble dryer it doesn't work like any other tumble dryer I've ever used it takes longer and some things dry quicker than others and it's all to do with what your clothes are made out of princeton's throw a bath towel in there with some socks and pants I guarantee the socks and pants will dry quicker than the bath towel but then you're probably thinking well yeah ok it's bigger throw the bath towel in there on its own come back 3 hours later and it will probably be dry put it in with anything else and forget it it does use less electricity but it takes 3 times longer than a normal tumble dryer to dry it in so if you have got most of the time in the world then you won't have a problem with this machine at all and it will probably save you some electric but it just takes too long and it is quite noisy I've got it in my kitchen and I just shut the door when I have it on so where does that leave me well if you're reading this and you're thinking well he just doesn't like this tumble dryer well I don't like this tumble dryer but I have had other tumble dryers out of work perfectly well I just thought I would move the times and try something different if it ain't broke don't fix it so if you're used to a certain model on the way that it works don't think you're going to get something any better if you want to spend the extra money and be greener to the environment great but you're going to have to wait if you haven't got the Patience to wait don't buy this machine it's that simple yes you're save the environment yes you're probably save yourself some money but do you have time to waste waiting"

"A great tumble dryer. Had as a replacement for a cheap b rated condenser one and certainly a lot quieter. It seems as though the clothes come out fluffier and it doesn't get too hot and wreck the clothes."
