Great product, lots of different settings, quieter than my old one

"I had my old Candy condensor dryer for 15 years, so when it broke I went to AO.com as good prices. Best pirce was for another Candy, this time condensor heat pump, and I'm really happy with it. The drying options are great - I use hanger dry and cupboard dry the most. It's quieter than my old machine, and the water reservoir is easy to remove and replace. It also comes with a flexible pipe so it can be fitted to a mains outlet if you prefer.

It's good if your not in a hurry

"I liked this product because it is very very cheap to run and with 4 sons 'every little helps' as they say. The instructions were easily understood and I like that the water tank is on the door and is easily removed, not sure how the hinges are going to hold up as the tank can get heavy with each load but we'll see. It did warn me in the product description that it takes longer to dry than other tumble dryers (vented etc) and this is very very true and you have to make sure you set it at extra dry especially if it's a full load otherwise it will come out as wet as it went in even after two hours! Only two programmes work with full loads all the others range from 1kg to 4kg which is quite confusing as it is an 8kg machine, I'm not sure if I'm the wierd one but 9/10 times I have a full load to dry as I generally don't do half load washes. I think maybe more options for full loads would be better. I haven't used the 'smart touch' thing I don't really see how it's of any real use as when I'm out of the house I don't usually feel the need to put my dryer on as I normally sort my washing when I'm home and I can't foresee any occasion we're I would fill the dryer and not put it on there and then but again I may be the wierd one. The machine looks good and it's practical as no venting is required however my utility room still gets steamy even with the door open so I would certainly open a window or door when it's in use. This machine is OK and OK priced, the best thing is it's energy efficiency. X"

Difficult to use

"I have found this product to be over complicated. It looks good but really has been over thought. Personally I would prefer an appliance where you just have to twister button for it to come on. "

Love it

"You really can’t fault this machine, it does exactly what it has to do that is dry clothes!

The water collection tub is on the door of the machine and quite a novel idea also easy to take out to

We haven’t got round to trying the smart phone app yet

Nice and quiet and energy saving

Win win "

Junk

"Worst dryer I’ve ever had - exchanged it after 2 days. Takes hours to dry anything, and with most fabric types the maximum load is 4kg, NOT 8kg as advertised. Absolutely not worth the money. I went back to a vented machine, offset 5 years of my entire household’s carbon footprint via the UN website, and still saved over £100 compared to the Candy machine. "

Energy efficient but a bit noisy

"We had a heat pump dryer previously but it broke down and couldn’t be repaired so bought this one as a replacement. Price was good for the type of dryer. Easy to use, just turn the dial. It is noisier than our last (Samsung) but does the job"
