"This is my second Panasonic. I replaced the previous one with another make and regretted it so was quite pleased when the paint began peeling off in chunks. I like it because it is compact, has a 30 second button (so useful when a ready meal needs to cook for + 1/2 minutes!) and a useful selection of auto functions, particularly baked potatoes and bread defrost. It doesn’t seem to steam up as badly as the previous microwave but it has a paint finish which is liable to peel if not dried. It has a good recipe book and cooking chart and a child lock (could also be useful if you have someone with dementia in the home). I love the black finish but having reduced sight does make it hard to see the symbols/words. To sum up, just really well designed."
