"Carbon filters are not included and manual shows an old shape carbon filter (type S1) being retro-fitted to the ends of the motor/fan unit (as in the earlier version of this hood which I had). But the ends are different and this is not possible on the present version.
The fan is noisy, and as in the previous version it is mounted at one end only - this poor mechanical design is what leads ultimately to bearing failure. The fan shaft should have a bearing at both ends to give smoother balanced rotation. and a longer life. Disappointing."
"Looks great, but instructions are unclear and incoherent. Poorly translated?No information as to what should be in the box, is the V flap missing? Unclear what the expansion pipe is. Husband is a very able practical man, but instructions have left him baffled!
