"We bought this hob to replace our failing De Detrich induction hob that we have had for many years. It is of a similar size and fitted perfectly into the worktop. The controls are easy to use and the ability to select a range of 0 to 18 means that the heat is very controllable. There is also a power boost that brings water to the boil very quickly. The controls are touch sensitive and you can slide your finger across them to the desired heat setting which is much more convenient than tapping until the you get the right setting.
The special functions are very useful and you can select these to keep food warm, slow cook (which is great for sauces and our morning porridge), boiling, melting and moka (which we have not used because we don't have the dedicated coffee espresso maker). We have also used the active heat setting which is a great idea.
The flexible zone is really good for larger pans or for square trays such as a roasting tray or a grill pan.
If we were to be picky then the only thing that could be improved would be the ability to use the timer on all 4 zones at the same time rather than just 2. But how often would you need this?
The safety features are fairly standard and work well.
Overall an excellent hob at a good price. We are really happy with our purchase."

"I bought this hob as a replacement for one that had broken. I chose this for the price, the larger size and the Active Cook functions.
Fitting the hob was very easy and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.
I've had the hob for a few weeks now, and am extremely happy with it. The extra width over my previous job has been very useful and allows me to use a few of my bigger pans at the same time, which I wasn't able to do previously. Being able to combine the two left zones into one large one also helps with the use of large pans.
I've not used all of the Active Cook functions, but the simmering function has worked well when used. I did purchase the coffee pot specifically for the hob, and the auto cooking function for coffee is brilliant - one of my favourite features!
The controls are simple and responsive. I'm very pleased with the hob, and given its price point, it's got a great deal of useful functionality. Highly recommended"
