"This Hisense RS694N4BC1 was a replacement for a Beko American style fridge/ freezer which had served me well for many years. After reading some revues I opted for the Hisense model which was priced in the range I wanted to spend. The appliance is very modern in its appearance and a nice design.
Everything is as expected and works well, it is much quieter than my old fridge. The drinks hatch seems a bit gimmicky.
However there is one problem. My previous fridge was a plumbed model and the cold water had a good flow. This model however is not plumbed and a tank requires filling with water, which isn’t a problem but the flow is much slower. It can be a bit frustrating waiting for your glass to fill. It may be a small niggle that spoils what otherwise would be a 5 star review."

"Love this fridge freezer, looks the part, it’s quiet, great wee door in front for cold drinks so you don’t have to open the whole fridge.
Due to the ice storage there is not a huge amount of space but I knew that when I bought it.
Really pleased with my purchase.

"A friend has a LG and its ice maker gets stuck/needs poking unlke my Hisense - this beauty has never needed that/never got stuck. I think it's because the cubes are smaller/betrter shaped. I have no negs about this very posh looking fridge freezer. The bar/hatch I use every day - keeps the cool in the fridge and makes me drink more wine alas!!"

"The fridge is of solid construction and doesn't have overly complicated controls. In fact I managed to plug it in and do nothing else. Good layout inside with plenty of space. Easy to clean. Egg holders don't really have a place they fit but who puts eggs in the fridge anyway. Not the best money can buy but worth the cost."

"this fridge is great.... Yes the bar door is a bit gimmicky, but it's fun. The water dispenser holds a good amount of water and the cubed ice and crushed ice works really well. The only negative might be the water speed, which is quite slow (but not uncommon on these fridges).
the touch controls on the front are great too, really makes the whole thing look expensive. Plenty of room in both the fridge and the freezer, looking forward to filling it!"

"This American style fridge freezer is great for me - it provides a huge amount of space, particularly in the fridge, and as a keen cook and allotment gardener this is just what I needed. The water, ice and crushed ice functions are fab, and combined with the bar door mean they are great for socialising! The fact that it is not plumbed is perfect for me too as I wouldn’t have had room to put it near enough to the water supply, and the tank for supplying water to the dispenser is small enough not to impact space and really easy to top up. The digital display is so easy to use too. I was a bit worried at first that it was going to be hot as it was quite warm to touch when first plugged in but now it’s running normally it is fine, and quiet too. "
