"I nearly chose a Smeg oven but the amps rating was too high for our cottage (top tip: check!) and so went back to the drawing board. I am so glad I did as I almost overlooked the best of British. This oven cooks brilliantly. My family favourites are even better, every dish cooks evenly with no turning halfway required. The pizza setting is fantastic. I have never had an induction hob before and have read mixed reviews but I am a convert - I cannot believe how fast water comes to the boil and how quickly it stops too. Such clever technology. The ovens seem to be staying pretty clean too, with a certain level of resistance to fat and general cooking mess. I have nothing negative to say at all. Would I recommend? Yes. Would I buy it again? Yes.

"Great so far, the ovens heat up quickly and retain a constant temperature. The induction hob is brilliant despite my concerns that it wouldn’t be as good as our previous gas hob. Only niggle so far is that the oven needs to sit proud of our units as the doors are hinged to the side rather than at the bottom which was the case with the range it replace but this is our fault rather than Stoves - we just didn’t think that bit through."
