"Cheap build. The sensor stopped working within 2 days of use! The hotpoint engineer found a loose wire to the sensor which he fixed and then told us the sensor doesn't work well on this machine and advised us just to use timed drying! The water drawer has a sharp edge on the hand grip and the hole to pour the water out of the drawer is very small so emptying the water takes ages. The condenser at the bottom of the machine is flimsy with a foil like cover which looks like it wont last long. The on off button is wobbly. All in all we wish we hadn't bought this dryer. I would advise buyers not to waste their money on this machine spend a bit more money to get better quality and a machine that will last longer."

"Has a good capacity, I like the water container at the top of the machine rather than having to bend. Good price was so a deciding factor."

"Easy to use and much quieter than my last dryer. It does make a “slurping” sound whilst it’s working but easy to ignore. Dials are really easy to understand and I like that I can put it on for specific times. If it dries quicker it turns off which is energy saving. "

"Hotpoint condenser drier purchased, used a few times, like the Dry to wear, and the Cupboard dry. Very Good at present, will hope it keeps me happy ?? "
