Zanussi cooker with induction hob

"Induction hob excellent with first rate safety features such as turning itself off when pot lifted off. Also very easy to understand controls. Fan oven performance first rate"

Good old Zanussi!

"I bought this as a replacement and upgrade to my last Zanussi. I wanted a touch control but unfortunately they did not offer one however this has a mixture of actual knobs and digital display. Really quick response in terms of using the hob and the oven warms up really very quickly. Does what it should do.Only gave it four stars because one of the feet when trying to adjust the height keeps on screwing itself when I slide it into it place. Hopefully this has been rectified as they are sending me a new foot."

Zanussi Electric Cooker

"Excellent quality, good-looking cooker, grill and main oven both huge, second oven useful size, plenty of shelves and flexible positioning for them. Four differently sized induction burners with useful power boost, grill can be used full or half size. Note that grill must be operated with top oven door closed. Only thing I'm not keen on is instructions say grill must be operated on full power, there doesn't appear to be a way of controlling the power (other than by using a lower shelf)."

Would be 5 star if the lead and grill pan were included

"Lovely cooker, looks great and the hobs oven and grill are fantastic and fast. Hardly uses any energy on my smart meter. Disappointed that it didn’t come with a grill pan handle or lead wire to be able to connect to electric. For the money you would have thought these should be included. Fantastic and fast delivery from AO"

Fist foray into induction cooking

"My old stove went up in smoke, literally so was in need of a new one and had fancied an induction cooker for a while. Decided on this model one of the big points was the very large ovens as some I had seen in the past were the same size but had a much smaller oven. The cooker was delivered and I had a sparky to wire it in, Followed the instructions to pre heat both ovens at full temp one at a time for an hour yes it did smell a bit. It does take a bit of getting used to the controls and the settings to use ( 0 - 9 + power boost) have the "rings" on 4-5 where on my old stove it was a 2 - 2 1/5 but heats up VERY fast and turns down very fast as well. I did loose two pans but I was aware they were not compatible before hand but my others are so no real issue. The grill works well but does take a little longer to heat up than my old one but heats nice and even the grill/ oven is big enough that I can use this for day to day cooking, the main oven heats up quickly and gives a very good even cook a good test is a pizza well OK 3 for the family all evenly cooked. Downside would like a few more "shelf" positions in the small oven, it does on occasion buzz from the rings when cooking (does say this is OK in the handbook) Leveling the cooker was nice and easy with 4 adjuster feet and feels firm even though I had to raise it a fair bit to match my worktops. All told so far very happy with it. Would I recommend it to someone else? Yes just be ready to alter the way you cook with regards to times and temps as well as the numbers you are used to using for the rings, remember the top is induction so need pans that will work, easy way to check is if a magnet will stick to the bottom of the pan it will work on the stove. Good so far

"Only had this cooker for less than 2 weeks so difficult to give a full review. Bought to replace similar old Zanussi which had parts failing, with induction upgrade which works well after checking old pots and buying new induction pan. Self-cleaning also seems a good extra. Steam from rear vents doesn't seem too much of a problem. Just need to get used to removing items from dip in shelves and grilling with door closed. "
