"This hob is fantastic on so many levels.
Functionally - It’s hard to believe how fast a pan heats up, yet it is so controllable. The touch control panel is really responsive and easy to use –it even works if your fingers are wet.
Aesthetically – well WOW! When it’s turned off, it’s a smart black hob. Turn it on and the virtual flames take it to a whole new level.
Features – I’m surprised that I’ve used some of the hob’s features. I thought that they were gimmicks but the timer, the keep warm and the really low temp setting (to melt chocolate) are all useful. The flexible cooking zone lets you use pans of different diameters without wasting energy
Installation – as simple as a simple thing! It was a swap for a ceramic hob of the same dimensions so all that we needed to do was attach the securing clips and wire into the existing junction box.
Summary - It is better than any gas hob I have ever used and a million times better than my old ceramic hob. Would I recommend it - Yes, yes and yes.

"We ordered this hob as it was the latest from Samsung and would therefore be up to date, have the latest features and had the layout we was looking for, unfortunately the hob didn't work properly, The buttons did not respond to touch so it took a long time to switch on and a long time to select a cooking zone to use, but before you could do that the auto cut off would switch the Hob off again, and if you did manage to get it going you could not control it properly so a pan would boil over before you could do anything, unless you took the pan off. We complained to AO and Samsung who replaced the hob with a new one the next day, unfortunately the second hob although better had the same issue with unresponsive controls, we complained again and this time Samsung sent out an engineer to fix it, but was unable, so we are now waiting for a new control panel to be delivered and installed from Samsung. if you are looking to buy a new induction hob then you may want to avoid this one, we may have been unlucky with a bad batch or it could be a design fault, I wait to see what happens next."
