"Our previous integral fridge/freezer was looking old and tired 18(!) years. Decided to replace it with a larder fridge for extra storage (we have both upright and chest freezers in the garage) and after checking all the available pros/cons and reviews, chose the Hotpoint HS1801AA. So far been totally satisfied with it. The extra storage is a bonus, with enough shelves to distribute food/drink more efficiently and the bottle "shelf" is a Godsend. No more having to shuffle items around in the fridge, or risking anything getting hidden behind something (and not found until its "too late"!) The sound it makes during operation is negligible. Reversing the door was fairly easy. The fridge fitted into the existing cabinet reasonably easily - just had to make a slight adjustment to the housing as our old fridge/freezer was a centimetre shorter but no big deal (having a "handy hubby" was useful!). My only "con" was that the devices to connect the fridge door to the existing cabinet doors are a tad flimsy (plastic) so not sure how long they'll last. Otherwise, no problems so far. "
