"I originally bought the same model and colour of freezer 12 years ago. It was still working and going strong but had started to look tired. The freezer comes with 3 sturdy drawers, each a good size. This always you to separate your food. This time I bought the frost free version. I wondered if it was going to be loud (as in humming) as it has a fan at the top that blows round the air that freezes the food. It’s not noisy at all. Occasionally it quietly hums but not all the time. I also have the matching fridge (which had broken) so I looked around the internet and AO had competitive pricing with great delivery And near looking fridge. "

"Bought to match two refrigerators which are excellent so confident that this will prove a good buy as well. Easy to position and set. Looks good and runs fairly quietly, quick to reach desired temperature setting and holds it well. The frost free feature is definitely a great benefit. Hard to find fault but a small criticism is the drawer quality which possibly should have a more robust specification. Overall very happy with the freezer and the AO service."

"We have had similar products before and they have lasted well. This was the first of 3 Hotpoint Fridges and Freezers that we had to replace and we bought them about 17 years ago. We decide to go for the one that did not have to be defrosted, because the previous ones had to be done more often than we wanted. You do lose a lot of space and is also much noisier as a result. Fortunately, we don't have to keep it in out kitchen. I would not recommend it if you wanted it in a room you use frequently, particularly a room you use for TV or have to socialise in as the noise would be irritating at the least."
