"I had my doubts about this fridge freezer. It seemed too good to be true. A nice slim design that fits snugly in a narrow utility room, a very reasonable price, and a quietish 43db noise rating. I was worried about the fact that Hotpoint were having to get Jamie Oliver to endorse it, as this just made me think there must be something wrong with it. But no, the fridge freezer is silent most of the time, and when in cooling mode, the noise is fairly quiet. The freezer is the correct temperature, and the fridge is about 3degrees celcius with the dial turned to 3.5. There is a fast freeze button that you can turn on, in case your kitchen/utility room/garage is lower than 16 degrees. Therefore, anyone worried about having this in a cold room need not worry. I miss pull out drawers for the freezer, but i am getting used to the pull down drawers. The seal is very strong on this fridge, which will prevent any inefficiencies, but it does need a good strong pull to open. Probably not a fridge for anyone frail. I went for this over a frost free fridge, as my previous frost free fridge was noisy ( cooling most of the time ) and took up too much space. This fridge freezer is the perfect size. Not too tall as well. Great job Hotpoint."

"I had to replace a 20 year old Hotpoint for our tenant and this is the current version replacement. AO did the installation and recycling for my tenant who is happy. I couldn't ask for anything more."
