"This freezer replaced an ancient Zanussi one. It is fantastically quiet - even when working hard it is much quieter than our old one which kept us up at night at the end. It's only been in a week, so we've not noticed a drop in electricity usage yet, but I've no doubt we will. You can switch the way the door opens but we have opted not to, so can't comment on that process. However, the instructions didn't look especially easy to read, but perhaps it's better when you're actually doing it.
The temperature display and control buttons are inside the door (rather than above it) which took a bit of getting used to, but I suppose if all is well there's no need to see it all the time. The door alarm sounds after 2 minutes, which I feel is a bit prompt - it certainly takes me longer than that to load food into it after a big shop - but it is very useful to know if the door somehow doesn't shut properly! The seal around the door is very strong - sometimes too strong and we have to fight to get it open! Still on the subject of alarms, we do like the party mode which allows you to chill booze for half an hour and then sounds an alarm for you to take it out again!
Space wise, it has 2 flaps and 5 drawers (3 of them deep ones). We have managed to fit everything from the old freezer in with room to spare. The bottom drawer is a little awkward in terms of the actual gap to pull things out - we've had to limit that to shallow items that are easily removed rather than a whole chicken for example.
Finally the fact that it is frost free is a huge plus. No more defrosting! Happy days!"

"Very happy with the freezer good price and plenty of room in it. Bought it for an outhouse to replace a similar product and it fits the bill. Instructions hard to follow because they cover all models but we got there in the end. "

"Good size upright freezer, which matches my Indesit fridge so they stand side by side. They can be fixed together to look like one unit. Drawers and shelves for storage, the latter with front covers to prevent items falling out when opening door."

"This Indesit freezer suited all our needs. It has sufficent space for all our food and the doors and draws operate smoothly. This is our first frost free freezer and to date it has performed well and is a lot quieter than our old one."
