"A large capacity fridge and freezer with plenty of shelving and freezer baskets. Fridge lighting is very good. Whilst it is a tall unit all foodstuffs are easy to reach. Very clear temperature displays. The stainless steel finish is makes it stand out in the kitchen."

"OK I am comparing this with the unit it replaced. A 15 year old "A" rated Siemens of similar features and capacity. On the whole its a well made unit but the internal fittings are basic, the door bottle holder being a bit too weak in my opinion. Positioning of the shelves and door fittings suffer the usual problem of not being quite right at any of the preset options. On that note this is not a fridge for short people! Not much to say about the freezer section, its fine. The biggest issue with this model is that its quite noisy. Overall quite a bit more noisy than the old Siemens but most critically it emits a high pitched whistle when the compressor is running which I find annoying. Not really acceptable from a premium brand in my opinion. Compared to the unit it replaced its not as well featured and noisier (also much larger but that's due to the A++ rating requiring more insulation) but it cost a similar price all these years later. I guess that's progress! Is looks nice in the SS finish though. If you wonder why I did not purchase a Siemens / Bosch unit its because they don't have a direct equivalent in their current range, the strive to go more efficient has compromised the internal capacity by as much as 20%"
