"Chose this machine as was looking for a shallow machine to fit in our new kitchen fitted in a very old cottage with very irregular walls.
It fitted perfectly, works perfectly and looks really good in situ.
You won't go far wrong with this one.
Only downside is moving it around whilst fitting, it is very heavy, but I suppose it needs that so it doesn't move when fitted.

"I went for this washer because of the different wash options (quick wash options are handy), the size (drum size and overall size it wasn't as deep as some of the others I was interested in, so fits much better) and the high spin rpm.
Although it produces good results washing dirt out of clothes and a good selection of different wash programs, the rinse cycle doesn't seem to be very effective as I'm having to put the extra rinse cycle option on it every time to reduce the residue of soap as the first couple of washes I did resulted in the clothes irritating my skin. It was clear the inside of the door was still quite soapy at the end and you could feel a sort of soapy film on clothing (and yes, I was using the correct amount of washing liquid that I always use and correct for that load, if not less after the first wash). It does look like there's hardly any water in the drum with the clothes when it's washing and rinsing (compared to my old washer) so not sure if that is how it's supposed to be or not.
It is very noisy with mechanical grinding sounds and loud clonks when it's changing to a different part of the cycle and especially when it's sucking out the water. I'm expecting this to mean a high wear and tear rate. It has a high pitch whining noise when spinning.
The water hose that came with it leaked (I tried cleaning the thread and putting vaseline on the washer and still leaked all over my under-sink cupboard). I let Candy know, as per their user manual instructions that tells you not to reuse old pipes and inform Candy if the one supplied is faulty, but they were not interested in sending me a replacement pipe that didn't leak.
Drum has also got several big scratches inside it that I can only assume has been made with sharp metal objects.
I made Candy aware of all the above when registering the warranty, which they said didn't sound right, but wouldn't accept a sound recording and as it does wash my clothes, if they send an engineer out and it's not faulty, they told me I'll get charged their call-out fee, which I didn't want to risk. Maybe it's supposed to be this loud and clonky?
It claims to be 200 rpm faster than my old washing machine, however, clothes are still considerably wetter than my old washer even when put on the fastest spin cycle, which I was really disappointed about.
It looks smart and the timer display is very useful."
