"Had to wait a week to use this as it came with a European plug fitted. Luckily Smeg’s repair agents had a cancellation or it would have been two weeks. Wish I had researched the product more thoroughly & would have seen comments about the noise, drives us crazy. Wanted one without a water dispenser but with big freezer drawers so that limited the choice. Shelf configuration too great. Limited space for bottles & water jug (needed as we live in an area with extremely hard water).
On the plus side it looks great."

"Purchased this fridge/freezer as our previous fridge freezer had broken before Christmas.This was a great purchase ! Keeps the food so well chilled ! Looks amazing in the kitchen too ! You can’t go wrong with a Smeg appliance ! "

"Fabulous freezer and whilst it is smaller than the standard American fridge freezer size it is massive! Love the fridge to freezer ratio and the freezer draws are just brill! An excellent product, chuffed to bits with it :-)"

"Only minor criticism is the lack of UK specific plug. Adaptor supplied but adds to depth needed behind fridge.

"Overall, I am VERY happy with our purchase.
However, we have had this almost two weeks now, and I’m STILL waiting for Smeg to sort out our issues.
It would seem that one of the brackets on the door has been fitted incorrectly, making the doors an eye sore because they don’t line up properly.
Also something I find frustrating - only because of having previous fridges that do it - the doors don’t automatically shut once you push them to close.
I open the door - take out milk to make a cuppa - and before I’ve even finished pouring the milk, the open door alarm is going off already! Hoping to change the settings on this somehow, but might also be from the bracket issue we are having?
The fridge itself - is brilliant. Spacious, keeps food really fresh for long. Looks great (hopefully better once the doors are sorted!) lots of storage.
And the freezer! Excellent! Lots of room, deep drawers. Wonderful size. Hidden ice cube compartment which is handy too!
Just bare in mind - Smeg’s customer service seem to be quite difficult to get hold of. No obvious phone number for customer services, in the end several tweets and a call to AO got me through to them. "
