"Love the simple utilitarian design of this hob. Smeg's classic strong controls - it seems the newer hobs no longer have this style :-( and good variety of heat power from each gas ring. The cast iron is good quality and splits into 3 for easy cleaning. The layout of the 4 hobs is really practical and the cast iron is completely flat and stretches right to the edge of so it it really useful as a pot/tray stand whilst still cooking on some of the other gas rings. Great value for £"

"This is a smart, wonderful and good value for money piece of kit. In our brand new kitchen it is a 'bit of bling', especially as we have installed wall lights and angled them to show it off! It works as well as you would expect, but the most important point for a hob, I feel, is how easy is it to clean. This is easy because the cast iron pan supports are much lighter than we expected (they also link together which is a nice touch), easy to remove and give the hob a quick wipe down. I couldn't recommend it highly enough and I take some pleasing - after all it's a hob and it cooks food, but somehow it feels a little more than that!"

"Thrilled with my new hob. Very sleek to look at & not super shiny, which cleaning is always hard to maintain. The knobs are classic & the pan supports are solid, so will be hard wearing. Easy to use, would highly recommend. Absolutely delighted "

"Hob layout allows easy use of 2 very large saucepans and 2 smaller. Burners extremely efficient. Don't know how to clean stainless steel burners if they get fat burnt on but so far, layout seems to impede splashes onto other burners. "
