"The design of this looks great. The metal finish gives it a sleek look. It’s my first induction job and was surprised at how quick it works to heat food. The bridge function is fine. Not sure how useful it will really be. I was surprised to learn that induction jobs make a buzzing, humming sound. I originally thought the hob was broken. Apparently this is normal. Really wasn’t expecting this. Decided I can live with it, due to the faster cooking. "

"Previously I purchased the AEG HK654400FB and like any terrible DIYer I had a bit of a bit of set back and managed to drop a chisel on my shiney new induction hob and smashed it into a million pieces. This was a shame because it was very good.
After much shouting and crying and after my wife pointed I should have carried out a risk assessment I proceeded to find a suitable replacement after I scraped together enough pennies again. I went through the same process of assessing all the available hobs and eventually came to the same conclusion i did last time after 2 days of searching the AEG is the best for the following reasons...
The controls are excellent. The power is instant. It’s easy to clean with a little degreaser. The bridging function is fab for a Japanese grill. The timer function stops you over cooking things. It doesn’t chicken out when you use the power function over 2 pans like other power limited induction hobs. A good set of pans are a must, stainless with an aluminium core ideally.
A fab product worth your money twice over. "
