"Moving from a 49" flat screen Samsung HDTV to a 55" curved screen Samsung 4K TV was a big decision. Until recently they were very pricey but now well within the affordable range.
Installation was simple, if a bit long winded. I had to log into my Samsung account as well as providing some general info. At least during this process the TV tuned itself in.
A slight audio incompatibility manifested itself as a " machine gun" sound on my soundbar. I went to the Advanced Audio settings and changed out of Dolby to restore sanity.
The feet are rather widely spaced, unlike the central feet on the old TV, so they would not rest on the existing stand. Solved by purchasing a general purpose centre stand to fit the VESA 400 holes on the rear of the set.
Picture quality is excellent and the viewing angle means everybody can see the full screen.
A couple of slight niggles. Firstly when switched on it shows the Region. Secondly, when switching between devices it does not switch automatically to the appropriate HDMI input.
I would recommend this set. "

Not disappoint. Curve is not intrusive and enhances the picture when sitting directly in front. Does not have much effect on viewing angle if sitting at the side.
Picture quality is excellent and the sound quality is perfectly good for a decent sized room. Wall mounting is simple.
Only disappointment is the lack of smart remote unlike my previous Samsung, so no voice control, no IR out to STB but you can’t have everything. Only 3 HDMI ports too whereas my previous TV had 4. All in all I’m very pleased however. "
