"We originally bought a Samsung but picture quality on non-HD channels was very poor. It also didnt pick up our digital aerial signal. Philips worked straight away with easy installation and far better picture quality across all channels. Backlight we thought was a bit of gimmick but we really like atmosphere it creates. If you want soundbar consider the Philips stand and how what you buy will fit."

"Large Samsung tv that we have wall hung on chimney breast. We were looking for something sleek and stylish. The 49 inch is fairly lightweight and slimline with the wonderful picture quality that we come to expect from Samsung. Easy to set up with lots of features and extras to add to viewing pleasure. Competitively priced and good value. Great tv for movie nights! "
