"This Samsung 49 inch 4K Smart TV I just got is an upgrade to my legacy 40 inch Samsung bought in 2012 which I must point out that I have had no issues whatever with that TV. My son insists he will have the old TV when moving into his own place... until he found out what I paid for the new TV!
My reasons for getting the new TV: I wanted to upgrade to something slightly bigger, a crisp detailed 4K picture and Smart options, particularly the Internet access. I got all that and lots more like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, great 20 watt sound output, a graphic equaliser...and some features I have yet to explore.
If there is something that falls short for this TV it's the stand -- the legs have a 950mm spread so the unit it sits on has to be quite wide. I would have preferred a single stand option if that were available. Not a big deal when you get that picture, that sound and all the features. Basically, it 'Does everything what it says in the write-up'. 5 Star recommended. "

"Excellent television once again by Samsung. Very easy to set up and I am 68 years old. Beautiful picture and love all the features of this smart tv. My previous one (which I now have upstairs) is also a Samsung. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely tv."
