"So pleased with my Samsung television. I ordered the 40inch and was surprised to see that it was smaller than the 37inch tele I had previously. Colour and definition superb. Easy to set up, I had no problem connecting the BT vision box and my DVD player and still had a HDMI socket spare. Big plus it is cheaper to run as it has been rated energy A. "

"As a TV I love it - love the picture quality, it's the big plus of this model. However what's really annoying, and to me a glaring omission, is that you can't plug headphones into it. Neither does it have Bluetooth, so you can't use wireless headphones either. What if you don't want to disturb anyone else?? The only way around it is to buy another device that has both HDMI and 3.5mm jack sockets. In my case, I'm a Virgin Media subscriber and my cable box is such a device - I can mute the TV and plug my headphones into the box. However I can't play DVD'S using headphones unless I spend a lot more money on a sound system, or simply use my computer or my old DVD combi TV instead. I am prepared to live with these shortcomings in exchange for the great picture quality and lifespan/reliability you get from Samsung, but the lack of audio options lose it an overall recommendation. "
