"Never did I think I could love a domestic appliance but, whether it’s due to my age or lockdown induced insanity, it’s happened. I’ve never had a stand-alone tumble dryer before and it’s completely changed my life. So much so I’ve now bought the washing machine to match!
I thought the app would be a gimmick and it is really but it’s fun to use nevertheless.
My washing is completely dry in about 90 minutes which is unheard of in my house. It starts off estimating 3 hours but recalculates about an hour in.
Water is a doddle to empty and is only done every four or five loads.
The capacity is enormous.
It’s quiet, quicker than using an airer, and efficient. Things don’t come out creased to hell and the different dryness settings mean I can iron sheets easily and then just put them away or back on the bed.
So far absolutely wonderful. Could not be happier. "

"We've used a standard Hotpoint condenser tumble dryer for several years and after a recent failure decided to try a heat pump version.
The Samsung seemed the natural choice for me as we have several other devices from the same manufacturer TV washing machine etc.
Although it was expensive the reviews and product reliability were excellent so we bit the bullet and chose this model and have now had it for over two months.
Have to say if your undecided about buying this model dont be its brilliant quite and yes it does take slightly longer in some the cases to get items like bath towels touch dry but i'm perfectly happy with that as we have a smart meter and by comparison to our old unit this model is great at saving energy, its user friendly the water tray is easy to access the fluff filter has a double mesh insert and easy to clean.
also the Samsung smart things app gives you all the information and alerts you when its finished not essential i know but if your busy its a useful with delay end etc.

"After having this drier for 3 months started to get an awful knocking noise, which means I have every door closed in the house when running it, also the amount of fluff that comes out by the surrounding area seems bad, read a lot of reviews and Samsung seem to have split drums, so not happy it will probably need a major strip down to repair, this drier is top price bracket but never again, let’s hope they can repair it,"

"this is our second heat pump tumble dryer we have had, the first was a panasonic unit which was a nightmare, it failed within 3 months ,repaired , failed again , repaired, failed again ,total of 6 breakdowns in the 5 year warranty period, so we are hoping that this one is more reliable , its is very economic to run for a tumble dryer ,very quiet and has great functions ,backed with a five year warranty so fingers crossed"
