"I love this super quiet, efficient washer dryer. It is my second one, but this has a handy little post box for stray socks or items that you've hand washed and just need to pop in for a last spin. It looks funky, if that's your thing and sings a cute little tune to let you know when your washing's done. There is nothing that I don't like about this machine."

"Very happy with the product and the service so.com provided. The machine is easy to use and clothes come out very clean and the self clean is a brilliant idea. The add wash door is amazing and so useful. Never had dryer before so wonderful not to have clothes all over the house drying."

"As a busy professional I was looking for a washer dryer that would wash and dry and large load in one go in order to get some precious weekend time back. With it's large drum and QuickDrive technology, I took the plunge with this machine.
This is a nice looking machine (although deeper than a standard machine so sticks out a bit), I get plenty of comments. It also washes very well and very quickly in as little as 15 minutes. Even the more standard cycles like cotton only take just over an hour. Washing comes out clean, fresh and much softer than my old machine.
This is an expensive machine so I expected it to be near perfect. Unfortunately it isn't due to the following:
- Samsung would lead you to believe this machine is very quiet: whilst the motor is almost silent the Ecobubble pump give out a low frequency hum which is on constantly throughout the wash cycle. The machine also shakes about in the early stages of a spin despite being perfectly leveled.
- The Smart feature is very handy allowing you to customise the cycle and monitor the machine from your phone. Unfortunately the connection constantly drops out and I've had to re-add the machine to the app 3 times already. I have 20+ smart devices in my home - this is the only one I have trouble with.
- When using the drying option, most of the cycles use the hotter setting - this isn't made clear in the documentation. It would be nice to be able to select the drying temperature manually.
-The QuickDrive drum is quite vigorous on the cotton and fast cycles. A couple of my sports garments have been damaged by this. You have to be very careful to sort your clothes and use the appropriate cycle. Unfortunately, this defeats the whole point of getting the machine which was to chuck everything into a single load!
Overall, this is a good machine but I guess I was expecting it to be perfect at this price.
