"We brought this in January 2022, within 7 months cracks appeared on the back liner horizontally. I phoned Samsung who tried to fob me off with this was wear and tear and not under the 5 year warranty. After weeks of trying to explain that the warranty states defects in materials and parts they offered to send an engineer at my cost to decide if it's a defect. I declined to pay for the engineer, I looked into my rights and contacted AO. I was put through to an AO agent who was very understanding and helpful, she contacted Samsung and stayed on the telephone to resolve the issue. An engineer attended which AO paid for, he was here for less than five minutes took a picture and said that's a defect. I have now been offered a replacement or a refund, still waiting for Samsung to call back. The fridge freezer works well and looks great, I expect I will exchange and hope this doesn't happen in the new one. I would be interested to know if this has happened with others or maybe I was just unlucky.
What I've learnt is that AO have a fantastic customer service who are there to help and on the customers side. "
"This replaced a similar older one - but what a difference! We didn't want the ice-making facility again, so we plumped for this design with relatively more shelf space. It's quieter, and the digital temperature display only comes on when the door is opened.
After checking its electrical consumption it seems to use 75% less than the previous.
