"Very happy with new fridge freezer; like the larger fridge area compared to my old one and the small access door is a neat touch. The water/ice dispenser works really well and does not make the mess my old one did - the ice went everywhere."

"Purchased this fridge after much research. Avoid it at all costs.
Pros - Fridge looks pretty good with decent handles.
Cons:
- There isn't a proper drip tray for the ice/water so you often end up with water on your floor (not advisable if wooden).
- Pretty noisy (much noisier than any other fridge I have owned or lived with).
- The easy access drinks door is a complete waste of time. You can't grab any decent sized bottles / cartons through it and I have no faith in it not breaking.
- Parts of the fridge 'freeze' so for example our cottage cheese was frozen.
- The freezer compartment is pretty small.
- Oh and did I mention that the 'gas' has been leaking since purchase so neither the freezer or fridge cool any more (pretty fundamental). Apparently the leaking gas isn't harmful, I am not convinced.
Big Con: Reported gas fault to Samsung, took 5 days for diagnostic engineer to come and do diagnostic (the maximum allowed under their SLA agreement with Samsung) and he announced that a new replacement fridge was required (having confirmed with 2 of his System Engineers on the phone). Low and behold we now have to wait a further 5 working days (maximum SLA) for the System Engineer to come out and confirm this in person. When he does we then have to wait a minimum 4 to 7 working days for a new fridge to arrive. So by this point we will have been without a fridge for a minimum of 3 weeks (although I fear it will be much longer than this).
After much complaint to Samsung we were offered a small value of supermarket vouchers, how ironic! To store where exactly? In our room temperature fridge? It's taken hours and hours on the phone to get to this point.
I forgot to mention that the delivery of this fridge took 4 different AO engineer visits as well.
1. The first guys said they couldn't get it through the front door and didn't want to take it out of the box as it was raining and might 'damage' the fridge.
2. The second guys decided to take it out of the box before getting it through the front door, but proceeded to connect part of the water filter the wrong way so the ice / water wouldn't work.
3. The 3rd guys couldn't work out what was wrong with the water / ice and said needed to order a new fridge.
4. The 4th guys said lets just check your connection before we install the new fridge and simply switched round the part in about 30 seconds.
So if you want to spend hours and hours on the phone to AO and Samsung for a fridge that is unlikely to work and more importantly will not be replaced for a minimum of 3 weeks when it breaks then is the one for you.

"It's big and much colder than my last American Fridge Freezer. It could do with more lighting, as there is only a light at the top of the fridge and freezer. Water and ice dispenser is much better than our last FF. It is noisier but most of the time I don't notice it. I keep forgetting to use the drinks flap to access milk etc. I hope I don't sound negative but am really happy with our new FF."
