"Unit is gorgeous as was the last one we bought over 12 years before which lost it's ice auger & ice flap but wad still usable for 10 months before it blew it's compressor - rendering it dead.
This one is lighter & quieter but has as a ridiculous egg shelf as it's predecessor. The egg tray needs persuasion to fit & bows in the middle unless modified. The lid has the vertical face that you lift to access the eggs but the lids horizontal top, which is 90°s to the top of the vertical, drops to cover your hand access to the eggs.
Obviously no Engineer was employed when designing this. I binned the lid, as I did the last one, & all is well."

"Excellent product, seems to work better than my Panasonic which it has replaced. Quiet when running with slight gurgling as the water moves through to the ice maker. Fast freeze a function which allows recent shopping to get down to temperature quickly. Would definitely recommend both AO and the fridge freezer."

"Having waited a while to get an American fridge freezer I’m really happy with my purchase. Plenty of space in both the fridge and freezer and really love having filtered cold water and ice at the touch of a button."

"Marvellous stylish American Fridge Freezer, we were looking for ages for one which had a big capacity freezer compartment and this one is going to take some filling!! Was a bit worried having read some reviews about it being noise as we have open plan kitchen/diner/lounge but no need to worry at all, in fact I keep opening the door to check the light is on and it is working as it is so quiet!"

"Great fridge. Super cold drinks and food. Ice dispenser is a bit clunky like all of them and splashes any liquid in the glass - no drip tray which is minor gripe. We just dispense a load of ice into a Tupperware and keep it in the freezer. "
