"Why did I put up with an ordinary low level under counter fridge freezer for so long? I should have woken up to the versatility of an American Fridge Freezer years ago. It is so much easier to use, amazing space and looks fantastic. "

"Fridge works great. Ice maker is great at this time of year. Sadly first fridge came damaged, second fridge came the next day which was great, sadly this one was scratched too however to a lesser degree.
So far I haven't been able to get through to samsung yet to arrange for the replacement unscratched door."

Order to replace a GE model and so far very impressed.
The external dimensions are standard for this type of fridge freezer, but internally the space is amazing.
We fitted all our normal food in and had room to spare.
The ice and water dispenser is very neat, fitting within the door and therefore giving an extra shelf of freezer space compared to other models.
Displays are clear and easy to operate"

"I purchased this from AO as they were the only company that would deliver the next day after our old fridge freezer broke. The delivery guys were great, and even used their expertise to take the doors off the fridge to get it through the house.
The removal of the old fridge was swift and well worth the extra money.
The fridge is great. The space max technology means there is more room for everything. It is slightly louder than our older fridge, but I suspect this is something you get used to over time and learn to ignore it.
One thing I did read in one or two reviews, is that the cold water from the fridge isn’t that cold. The reviews were right and this is true. I did miss the ice cold water from out old Samsung, but the next cheapest LG with a plunked in water supply was £300 more. I therefore intend to buy a small Brita filter jug to live inside the fridge and use the ice maker instead.
Overall, it seems well built. The other reason for going for this fridge over the LG was the 5 year warranty. The LG one (at the time of buying) was only 2 years, and with a new baby on the way I didn’t want to take a risk of another fridge breakdown. "

"This American Fridge Freezer is cavernous, it’s also bright and seems to swallow whatever we put near it. The freezer also really benefits from locating the unit on the door, giving more space again.
The ONLY disappointment ment is the ice maker itself! Ice cubes are small and the dispenser itself is sluggish - seemingly taking ages to make its mind up on weather it’s going to do what you ask, the dispenser points are also ether far out from the pressure plate so ice cubes and water always on the floor. We’ll get used to it!"
