"This is a large unit (I won't go into the adventure we had getting it into the kitchen from the hallway...), so plenty of space is needed around it.
And if you're installing it yourself, allow at least half-an-hour to remove all the fastening tape, protective films & other transit-protection materials - it is very well prepared for transit and so there are lots to remove before switching on!
It holds a *huge* amount of fridge & freezer items and is very quiet in operation. The fridge can operate between 8 degrees and 2 degrees and the freezer operates between -14 degrees and -24 degrees. We've run using the switch-on defaults of 5 degrees (fridge) and -21 degrees (freezer) and had no problems with any food or drink so far.
Be aware that the water dispenser is a little slow and the ice (cubed or crushed) seems like it is being thrown at you - make sure you get the position of the receiving glass right!
The icemaker takes a while to make the ice & fill the internal ice bucket, but you can just leave it on for a few days and if you don't use ice as quickly as it makes ice, you can simply switch off the icemaker until the lice level in the internal bucket has reduced. Refilling the internal water-holder (to supply the water dispenser and icemaker) is simple & quick.
The doors are nice and heavy and if positioned correctly will slowly swing & close by themselves with a satisfying sealing sound. The display panel above the water/ice dispenser switches off until a button is pressed or a door is opened and then switches itself off again after a minute - a nice 'touch'
It looks fantastic and has performed flawlessly so far - all in all, a great product at a great price and highly recommended."
