"This is a replacement for a near identical model. It’s fros free and has an alarm which was crucial when the last one failed or we wouldn’t have known it had gone below temperature. The old one was only 3.5 years old and I have learned since that although this is frost free it is still a good idea to defrost it once a year in case ice builds up on the inner parts. The other reason our old one may have been short lived is because we plugged it in straight away as didn’t know about leaving the coolant to settle for four hours before plugging in. I left it 12 hours to be on the safe side this time. I got the same freezer again because it is very good and has been totally reliable- until it broke haha. It’s a good sized, nice handle, easy drawers and has an ALARM! The only slight issue was the drip tray was not fitted and delivered separately and it took ages to work out how to put it in the back as that is not mentioned in the instructions. Also the instructions tell you to remove transit bolts and unless I am mistaken there are no transit bolts to remove- I think it must be an error and a standard line for washing machine instructions. "
