There's no dials.
No way to change the power output; I mean, who actually ever uses a microwave on any setting other than full power?
There's no pointless automatic recipe settings and no clock; who needs a clock anyway???
It's an 800w oven and it runs at 800w.
Pressing the microwave button increases the cook time in jumps of 30 seconds. You use this setting to, you guessed it, "microwave your food"
Pressing defrost does the same, and increases the time in jumps of 30 seconds and you use this setting for......defrosting!
You then press start and if you want to stop or cancel, you press the stop/cancel button.
In the words of a famous meerkat, "simples!"
But all of this isn't the best bit about this microwave..oh no. The best bit is that it doesn't have a turntable!
So what does this mean?
Well, it means you can put much larger dishes in because it doesn't spin them round and you can actually use the full space of the oven. AND, it's easier to clean because you haven't got all that nonsense at the bottom of the oven to mess about with.
So all in all, I'm pretty happy with my new microwave.
The only ovens that beat this are those that are also an oven and a grill. I used to have one of these, (my wife now has custody) and it rocked BUT it cost literally more than 10 times the price of this microwave oven from Russell Hobbs. I've already recommended this to others. Is that a bit sad?
