"Ordered this freezer as old freezer was failing after 24 years of service. The delivery of the new freezer was efficient and the delivery men were able to position it exactly where it is needed as we ensured that the area was accessible even with social distancing. They also removed the old freezer. We purchased a Bosch freezer as we already have several Bosch appliances and find them to be well built and reliable.
This freezer is taller than our old one but the inside dimensions are much smaller. We will have to be more careful regarding batch cooking and freezing because of this. I like the compartment in the door for the ice packs so I am not hunting for them. There are two deep drawers and two shallower drawers and three open shelves. Each of the drawers also have hand holes on the sides which aid manouvering the dawers when fully laden. We prefer the dawers to the open shelves, but I expect we will get used to them. There is a loud alarm if the door is open for too long which we have already found useful. The freezer is very quiet otherwise. The temperature controls can only be accessed when the door is open. We probably would prefer not to open the door to check the temperature or to change it for instance to lower the temperature if freezing home cooked items. There is also a power switch with the temperature controls which I really like as accessing the plug socket is not easy for us. Would we buy again? Absolutely! We are very happy with it."
"Found myself having to replace my Bosch Upright Freezer after 15 years. What to buy? There were cheaper options available but I just couldn’t get past the quality of Bosch appliances. So I went for the stainless steel Bosch. Great quality and stunning good looks. Whilst mine languishes away in the garage, this freezer would look smart in the swankiest of kitchens. Even my 12 year old grandson commented on it’s good looks. Very functional, plenty of space and stylish. Love the new freezer. "

"Good freezer though a little smaller inside than would be assumed given the external dimensions, presumably due to it bring frost-free. Easy to install as relatively light."
