"The instructions on diy installation were a bit poor, and it’s been tough getting the charcoal filters from a secondary supplier, due to Covid.
Other than that, it’s quieter than our last one as well as the dishwasher safe grease filter is a bonus.

"Had to pop out (just out, not out out) when the delivery team called. They waited for 15 minutes until I drove home and did a curbside drop-off in line with their COVID policy. Very helpful and friendly team.

"This unit was bought to replace a 25 year old integrated unit. It was easy to fit but I needed to replace the ducting and external vent. The fan is higher capacity than the old unit and when initially installed was very noisy with no noticeable difference between the 3 speed settings. The installation instructions are clear and require a minimum 120mm diameter duct while 150 mm is preferred. Now installed with a 125mm duct the fan is much quieter at the lower speed and is acceptable at intermediate speed. I do not think the highest speed will be required for my application and although it will operate with the smaller duct, if the full capacity of the fan is required in normal operation I would suggest that the 150mm diameter duct is required to minimise noise. The anti grease filters are simple and easy to remove so I do not anticipate any problems with routine cleaning. Overall very happy with the installation. "

"Sadly our product was unusable but we didn’t know this until it was fully installed. There is a problem with the motor or fan unit that means it screeches like a banshee when switched on, that’s if it moves at all. AO have been very supportive and are sending out a new unit and will collect the broken one after our electrician has removed it and installed the replacement. They have also agreed to cover the additional installation costs we will incur. Such a shame as this should have been picked up by quality control before the item left the factory. The packaging was perfect, there were no signs of any poor handling in transit hence the assumption that the problem was already there before it left the factory.
