"At first I thought that this extractor was very noisy and I was thinking of approaching Siemens to tell them. However, it seems to have settled down and is now probably only slightly noisier than the one it replaced, which I expected. It is certainly extremely effective - and bright!"
"Very well built and designed. Provides an excellent extraction rate and removes vapour from hob cooking effectively. Lghting from cooker hood is also a good feature."

"Very disappointed! Product is good but it’s so noisy! It’s so bad that I resist turning it on as you can’t hear anything when it’s running. I wish I’d left my old one in which was working perfectly. I certainly wouldn’t have purchased it if I’d heard it running first."

"I ordered this extractor over the less expensive as it had a better rating re noise level. Whilst the extractor is very good the noise level doesn't appear to be that much quieter. The best thing is the strength of the extractor."
