"Having spent ages trying to find a rear-vented extractor hood with good reviews and from a recognized manufacturer, I came across this one from Bosch. Other suppliers seem to call top vents "rear ventable" expecting you to fit ducting at 90 degrees - which in turn lowers the height above the hob if you already have a hole in the wall! This is the genuine article, came with clear instructions, a drilling template and simple accessories. It was easy to fit and took about a tenth of the time I spent online trying to pin down the product to buy (even ignoring the one I bought from B&Q and had to return because it was top vent). This Bosch extractor looks good and has been working well since fitted a week ago so we are well-pleased."

"Easy to install. Easy to clean. Does a grand job of extracting steam and cooking smells. A little noisy on the highest setting but probably won't need to use that much. Looks very good and the two lights are perfect for their task. Recommended to anyone. "

Like all hoods its noisy especially on setting 3
It doesnt come with a carbon filter but these can be obtained easy enough"

"After quite some time to search, I finally found this one as this is perhaps one of a few that has the rear air duct with a well know brand with good quality. The delivery was planned, installation was ok (had to cut the wire to extend as it is quite short, also took extra hour to widen the hole on the wall to fit the rear air duct). Now running perfectly, not too much noise when running at lower speed but can very very noisy when running at max speed. Quite strong air suction I have to say, much stronger than my previous, broken one after 3 years usage. Very happy so far with the product and also the delivery"
