"Unit is very flimsy. Joints are not sealed correctly. The aluminium grease filters are a very loose fit with large gaps. The installation instructions refer to the wrong diagrams and diagrams that do not exist. The charcoal filters required for recirculation mode are nearly as expensive as the hood itself. If you are looking for precision German engineering, look elsewhere. This hood is made in POLAND! Remains to be seen how it performs and how long it lasts."

"The extractor fan is O.K. does the job well.
The fan can be configured to expel the air through the top, back or sides or recirculate the air. Fig. 2a, 2b, 2C, 2d, 2e 2f, 2g, 3, & 4. The instructions for these figures talk about Figs. 6a, 6b, 6c, 7a, 7b, 7c. & 8. The instruction for Fig 2e,2f, & 2g, appear to be correct. The English instructions are really dreadful, but German instructions appear to be O.K.
Is this Teutonic revenge for Brexit?"
