I first choose this oven because it is made in the uk, I thought it would be good for uk jobs & because it has telescopic runners. I thought the runners would help to make cooking in this oven safer for my tenants.
I was kep informed of the delivery time & at the exact time, to the minute. It was carefully delivered by two, extremely polite, competent gentleman.
However, when I went back to look at the overall effect of the installed oven.
Not to go into too much boring detail. In my opinion the build quality of the oven, I received was poor, but my beef was with the telescopic runners. They didn’t appear to fit properly. The wire shelf should attach firmly on the runners. So you can pull out the shelf safely to bast your meat, without spilling meat juices. Well, they just didn’t work. The shelf couldn’t be moved in or out safely on the runners. The shelf either pushed off the runners or snagged on the side. It snagged on the side, because it didn’t move smoothly, the runners were flimsy and easily distorted. In fact they went even level.
It was replaced without fuss by customer services for a different Brand made in Germany, tested to last for 20 years. AO delivery staff & customer service five stars ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? "

"Bought this oven as our old one was on the way out, broken shelf, erratic timer and bulb kept going.
This arrived just before Christmas and was used to do the Christmas roast, having two compartments with good cooking functions made life a lot easier.
The doors have very good visibility so you can see what’s going on in there. Lots of functions mean should be able to deal with any situation.
The only criticism is the manual and so loses a star, there are no instructions on how to use the various functions (slow cook, pizza oven etc) apart from how to select the option. And also instructions on what various timer modes do is light. Haven’t been able to find the information on their website so will be trial and error."

"Buying this couldn't have been easier it was delivered and fitted with ease by AO
It is smart looking and very easy to use both the ovens are a perfect size. The controls are ease to use and understand fantastic product much better than my previous AEG which was more expensive and had a number of faults wish I used AO first."

"The ovens are very good as expected, but the User Manuals are far too basic. No information on how they work or the best way to use them. I got a little bit more info from the AO website. Could do with a much better explanation of the functions - of which there are many - and a cook book with recommended recipes to learn how best to use the functions."

"Really pleased with this double oven. It's extremely advanced with many different cooking and baking options. Cooks a lot faster than my previous oven which is a huge bonas. One of my favourite features is that the shelves slide out so you can easily check your food or leave it to cool. The oven is super easy to clean and looks smart in my kitchen. The bluetooth timer is another handy advanced option it has. AO delivery service and product support is an added bonas!"
