Previously it was a gas cooker with grill now it is a gas oven with a smaller electric oven/grill above."

"This is, on the whole, a good product, a follow-on from an earlier Stoves model, which fits in well into our kitchen. The AO team installing it were efficient, polite and helpful. One detail: on this model there is no indicator when oven and small oven are up to desired temperature. A real miss by Stoves, as with prepared meals (and especially pizzas) it is essential to put them in at the right temperature to get the right result. So what I have done is use an oven thermometer to monitor the times in minutes and seconds at which the ovens reach gas levels 1 to 9. This may not be 100% accurate every time, but it's a great deal better than nothing. See below:

We contacted Stoves who confirmed that they'd not fitted this facility, and suggested running the ovens for 20 minutes to achieve heat. Any heat. A fanatic waste of gas especially in these times: as you will see from the above, that would mean wasting up to 14 minutes of gas!!
