"I have been using a Bosch dishwasher for over 10 years & I loved it, I only bought this because I wanted to have a fully integrated unit in my new kitchen, so naturally I went for another Bosch machine. There are & were several issues that arose before I bought it & when I tried to fit it. Now I am a fully competent plumber & engineer so it should have been simple. Before buying it I wanted to know what size decor door panel it took & no one knew not even Bosch directly they just emailed me the installation instructions. I only found out after I bought it that the decor door panel can only be 725mm high & my kitchen door were 730mm, I did find a way round this which works but no one new this when I asked Bosch directly. The second thing any potential buyer needs to know is that there can be nothing behind the machine, no services, no water pipes or connections not even the 13 amp plug outlet can be behind the machine as it needs to be firmly flat against the wall behind or the doors will not align at the front. All services have to be under or behind the next cupboard or even further afield. Once I managed to get it fitted yes it works fine, the program guidance in the user manual defines each of the 5 programmes but omits one crucial detail that being the length of time each of the programmes takes. Bosch have this information as it is available on their web site but sadly not included in the user manual. Finally this model only gives an audible tone when it has finished the selected cycle, a short set of tones, if you are out when this happens then you have no way of knowing when the machine has finished except to open the door to look at the control panel. Now some models have a light that shines on the floor under the machine when it is working so you know when the machine has finish the light has gone out, sadly not this model. So you either have to stay in to listen for the beeps or maybe set the timer on your cooker so you can see what time is left or may have elapsed, perhaps write down a note of the time you start it so you know when it should have finished. If I come up with another idea I may update this post, I am thinking perhaps a short piece of fibre optic cable from above the running light inside the machine to the outside somewhere so I can see when it has finished. Oh by the way the machine does clean the dishes lovely, you pays your money & takes your choice, disappointed of Worthing after having so many happy good years of my previous Bosch machine."
