"So many to choose from howver I went wiht the easy to operate and I didn't want a turn table so that eliminated some other models. Very happy with this one, it's reasy to operate, easy to wipe cleand, I've used it often as Grill, oven and microwave and have no complaints would highly recommend."

"This replaced a previous Neff model B7740N0GB which I’d had for 14 years and was still working but decided to treat myself to a new appliance in the N50 range.
• Display – looking at the black LCD panel (10cm x 3cm) showing the time display, I can see bands and blocks of another colour (dark blue/purple) which is particularly noticeable when the light is on or looking at the display from an angle (left / right or above / underneath)
• Microwave settings – inadequate, most recipes and cooking instructions require 800W 850W or 900W so Neff’s 90, 180, 360, 600 and 1000 are short of the mark in the upper range. I used to have a 600 and 900 setting instead of the 1000. They don’t even provide a conversion chart or ratio to work out how to increase the time when cooking on their 600 setting (1000 is for liquids only!)
• Accessories - 1 glass tray, 1 wire tray and 1 steam tray. Only the glass tray can be left in the microwave when using the microwave function. This is a real pain - not everyone has loads of worktop space to put these 2 metal accessories on when not in use. I used to be able to leave the wire grill and aluminium foil (whist defrosting) in my previous microwave why not now? Seems a backward step.
• Alarm – pathetic, can’t be heard in adjacent room or when my Neff extractor fan is on. The sound cannot be increased (unlike my previous microwave) only the length of time can be altered.
• Functionality – well all options work – but that’s what you expect from even the cheapest microwave. My kitchen windows get very steamed up when using the steam function.
• Compatibility within range - shelf numbering 1-4 marked on side of oven (NEFF N50 B5ACM7HN0B_SS) but 0-4 in microwave but not marked up. Timers work totally differently - microwave using the dial but oven using the touch LCD screen. The brightness of the time displays are different and no matter how I adjust them I can’t get the oven and microwave to look the same. This is really annoying as my two appliances are stacked above each other. I don’t think that the 2 products I purchased from the N50 range were even designed or built by the same team.
• Value for money – even at a heavily discounted sale price with AO I’m not sure its value for money even if it lasts 14 years like my old one.
