Should be called a Sliding Door??

"Can’t fault the oven as a whole. There are a few small points in amongst the pro’s.

The cooking compartment is a great size.

The sides of the oven are slim but keeps the heat in very well. Even the door itself hardly ever gets hot to the touch.

Talking of the door, it’s not exactly slide and hide like the previous model we had as the handle is fixed so causes door to sit just outside the oven. Should probably be called sliding door.

Also, the grill doesn’t have a grill tray for the pan, and is an awkward way to save a few pounds on a decent tray insert as they want you to place the tray below a shelf unit..

The front controls are just as good as the last oven we had, but having two knobs where one did everything just as well with a few buttons.

Not sure if it’s a bonus or not but it works. The knobs just don’t feel as high end as the previous model.

As far as the cooking etc, we haven’t used it long enough yet, but seems to cook just as well so far. Fan appears a little noisier than the previous model, going by my parents oven which is the same as our previous model which had problems with the fan from the beginning on ours.

Would I recommend this oven. Yes, I think I would. They may not be cheap, but I think they do everything very well and the controls are one of the ovens strong points as they are so easy to use and setting the clock and timers is a breeze. Along with the extremely good ability at keeping the heat in the oven, even when switched off and door closed to keep cooking without it being switched on."

Hide & Slide ACE .

"Our kitchen is like a galley kitchen , when our previous oven started playing up the idea of a new oven with a slide & hide door looked like a good idea . The oven has now been fitted , the facilities and programs with the cooker are numerous and we are still exploring what we can do . When the new cooker was installed it was very noticeable how much heavier the NEFF cooker was to our old cooker . To finish , no problems up till now , good product ."

neff ovens

"neff is top of the range and the hide and slide door is excellent invention, i am putting the ovens in a walk through area, so the fact that the doors slide in is brilliant safety measures for my kids not to knock themselves!

As expected with advanatages

"This was an oven as expected but with the added advantage that is not hardwired in but comes with a cable that is hardwired into the existing switch but then has a plug on the oven end. This allows for you to do the connection and when lifting the oven into place simply push home the power cable."
