Love it.

"Plus points - The slide and door because I have a narrow kitchen. The quick heat up facility because I very often forget to pre heat the oven. Bakes perfect cakes.

Negative points - one of the shelf is not quite level meaning my cakes are slightly lopsided, but this is hardly noticeable when I sandwich them together."

Just what we were looking for

"The slide away door feature feels like a gimmick initially but it quickly becomes and indispensable feature making it much easier to use. The quick heating function is excellent taking 5 mins or so to get up to 200c coupled with the fact it goes all the way up to 275c making it excellent if you want to make a quick pizza or something. All on a 13 amp connection as well. "

Excellent oven

"This good looking oven heats up fast and holds temperature accurately. It has as many settings as you would reasonably need, with a clock/timer that is straightforward to operate. The grill is even and the door easy to see through. The door slides away under the oven, making it convenient for tight spaces. The oven has the advantage of drawing under 3 KW, meaning it is safe to connect to a standard 13amp domestic circuit and does not require enhanced wiring."

Teutonic Talent

"Entry level for a Slide n Hide door cooker with low enough power rating to be able to use a 13 amp plug socket.

The product description stated that it came without a lead but this model came with a composite connection lead that plugged in the back of the oven and all you had to do was attach a 13amp fused plug to the other end job done.

The door action was smooth and light no more leaning over a stiff oven door, controls simple to use and push flush when not in use.

What's not to like."

Disappointed

"Have to say I am disappointed in this oven. The great thing about it is the hide and slide door which to be fair is why I purchased it. It is difficult to clean. The instructions say use hot soapy water. Doesn't touch it. Only had it a few weeks so it shouldn't have marked as much as it has. The light coloured interior shows burnt splashs badly. Today cleaned the door and a little water managed to get between the 2 panes of glass. Not a problem I thought. Read instructions. Am going to have to pay to get someone in the completely remove the door in order to clean between the 2 pieces of glass. It is impossible for me to do it myself. It's totally impractical. Have found I have to cook at least 20oC higher with this oven than any I have had before and the grill is a real pain, having to keep door closed which means I burnt my hand the first time I used it trying to remove the grill pan and also to bet thngs brown you have to have a really high temperature which then risks burning the food. For the same price I could have bought 2 double ovens so expected so much more of it"
