"According to Bosch, this is the replacement for the Series 6 that we used to have and it certainly appears to be despite having a lower series number! It looks the same apart from the knob is now black rather than silver, which is an improvement. The dial/knob presses in to make the front flat (it appears that the old one did too, but I didn't find out until I got this new one). Makes cleaning the front easier. This model has an improved door opener - touch control rather than manual push button. I haven't used it much yet but we were very happy with it's predecessor."
